Valor Completes First Hydroponics System for VCA

October 2, 2022

Valor Farms and Valor Foundation has built the first of many hydroponics units at Victory Christian Academy in Milwaukee, WI.

This first system is a fully custom system designed and built by Valor incorporating many design elements of systems built throughout the country and the world. What makes this system more efficient is that since it was built in-house by Valor, the overall cost was 50-60% less than a pre-built system.

This system will allow for growing of 266 vegetables at any given time.

A significant percentage of proceeds from the sale of vegetables from this system will be put towards the students of VCA.

Currently, Valor's next step is to build a 2nd hydroponics system similar to the current set-up and also build a dutch bucket system to house fruiting vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, tomatillos and peppers.

Valor expects to finish all of the systems by the end of October, as they and VCA continue to fundraise to build out these systems.

If you wish to donate towards the building of these systems, you can do so on our home page via PayPal or GiveButter. You may also send donations directly to VCA. You can find their information by clicking on the logo below.
